Air Nostrum is a regional airline of Spain with headquarters in Valencia. It is an independent carrier operating under Lufthansa and Binter Canarias on a wet-lease basis and as a regional franchise of Iberia Airlines. Of these, Iberia Regional is an affiliate member of Oneworld international airline alliance. Air Nostrum serves 51 domestic as well as international destinations, and also operates charter flights to certain regional destinations. It has its main base is Valencia Airport, and operating hubs at Madrid-Barajas and Barcelona Airport.

Air Nostrum was founded on 23 May 1994. Over the years, it underwent a couple of mergers and acquisitions to expand its services. Indeed, as late as July 17, 2018, it announced a merger with CityJet of Ireland to make it Europe’s largest regional airline. Currently, the airline operates on a fleet of 46 aircraft which include 27 Bombardier CRJ1000 planes. Avios, its frequent flyer program, allows regular passengers to earn and redeem flying points and avail special services.
